These terms govern your use of Arcos, the collaboration platform operated by Catalist Collective. By creating an account or using Arcos, you agree to them. If you are using Arcos on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
Arcos lets you collect information, connect it across spaces, and share it with the people you choose. Features change over time; we may add, alter, or withdraw them. Where a change materially reduces what the service does, we will give reasonable notice.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Arcos. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since sign-in is by emailed code. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been misused.
You keep ownership of everything you put into Arcos. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service — to store your content, process it, and display it to the people your privacy settings allow. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backups that age out on their normal cycle.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, and for what you choose to share and with whom.
Do not use Arcos to break the law, infringe someone's rights, or harm others. In particular, do not upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, space, or system, scrape or bulk-extract other people's content, or use the service to harass anyone or distribute unlawful material. We may suspend or remove access for serious or repeated breaches.
Spaces are administered by the people who run them. A space administrator can manage membership, roles, and what is shared within that space. Content you contribute to a space may remain visible to its members after you leave. Consider what you share, and with which space, accordingly.
Arcos can connect to third-party services at your instruction, such as Google Calendar. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and your use of them is governed by those. You can disconnect an integration at any time from Account Settings, which revokes the credential Arcos holds.
Some spaces sell tickets or take payments. Those transactions are between you and the organisation running that space; Arcos provides the platform and payment processing runs through Stripe. Refunds and event terms are set by the organiser, not by Arcos.
You may stop using Arcos and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are seriously breached, where required by law, or where continuing would put the service or its users at risk. We will give notice where it is reasonable to do so.
Arcos is provided as it is and as it is available. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
To the extent the law allows, Catalist Collective is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will give notice in the application or by email before it takes effect, and we will update the date at the top. Continuing to use Arcos after that means you accept the revised terms.
